After two weeks of little to no sleep, thanks to a lovely business trip and working late at night, I was pretty close to not going out to Portland Cars and Coffee this past Saturday. It wasn't until a friend of mine said that his father would offer me a chance to drive his exclusive Aviator Gray Audi S6. So yeah, that was enough for me to fall out of bed and make my way down there.
For a few months, I have been considering what my next car might be and the Audi S7 was on the top of that list (no, I can't afford an RS 7 or R8...). I was chatting with the aforementioned friend (who currently owns an Audi Exclusive Sport Classic Gray S5) about it a few weeks ago. So, that lead to a couple of other discussions and the offer to drive the S6 (same drivetrain that is found in the S7).
Keep in mind, it's not the first time I've driven an Audi with the twin-turbo 4.0-litre V8, as I've driven an A8 L with the same engine (but it has an 8-speed automatic instead of the S6/S7's 7-speed S-Tronic DCT). Where the A8 L was a bit too sedate and kind of wallowed about, the S6 was livelier and nimble. The suspension, even in Dynamic mode, was a lot more liveable than my S5's suspension on rough/broken roads. It's enough to really want to save up even more for an S7.
Anyway... enough of that. Y'all are here for the photos... so here you go.

I'm not sure what it is either... it looks like it's some kind of reservoir of some kind.
